Privacy Policy

Summary

DropIt is designed to work locally. The app does not require an account, does not operate its own servers, and does not send your records to a server.

Information stored by the app

DropIt may store the information you enter to create and use your plan on your device:

• Consumption and habit information, such as cigarettes per day, pack price, meal times, and goal.
• Cigarette, craving, trigger, note, and progress records.
• App preferences, such as language, appearance, and reminders.
• Backups that you choose to export or import in JSON format.

This information is used only to create your plan, show your progress, and provide the app’s features.

Data storage and transfer

DropIt data is stored locally on your device. The app does not transmit your records to our servers, use analytics or advertising, or create marketing profiles.

If you choose to export a backup, DropIt creates a JSON file in the location you select. If you choose to import a backup, the selected file is read on your device to restore data. You control where you save, share, or delete these files.

Notifications

DropIt may ask for permission to show local notifications related to your plan and reminders. These notifications are scheduled on your device; they are not sent from a server. You can turn them off in the app or device settings.

Data deletion

You can delete all data from DropIt’s data and privacy section. This permanently removes the app’s local profile, plans, records, and preferences. Deletion does not affect backups you exported previously; delete those from the location where you saved them.

Children

DropIt is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if DropIt’s features or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when a new version is published.
